Today, the yard boasts the single largest lifting capacity in South Florida enabling it to service boats from 30' to 300'.

Jones Boat Yard features the most modern equipment and technology available. Our hauling and dry dock capabilities of 300' length, 60' beam and 1800 tons are only the start. With in-house teams that specialize in all the marine trades — including carpentry, electrical, machinery, mechanical, paint, ship's systems, welding, and more — the yard has the solutions and craftsmen for the most demanding of specifications.
If your need is to get a big boat out of the water, Jones Boat Yard is the place to do it. Featuring three dry docks specializing in non-load bearing keels (with plans on the drafting table for several more), we have the hauling capacity to safely lift and service megayachts, offshore supply boats, Coast Guard cutters and patrol boats. The larger of the two dry docks accommodates vessels up to 1,800 tons displacement and 300’+ length with 60' between wing walls, enabling yacht services on very beamy boats. The slightly 'smaller' dry dock accommodates vessels up to 950 tons and 180’+ length with services performed between a 48' wing wall expanse.
The yard also features 3700 lineal feet of dockage, Travelifts, a Syncrolift and covered sheds for eleven 200'+ yachts. Once safely lifted and secured, Jones Boat Yard then offers a comprehensive selection of yacht services including complete interior and exterior refit and repair, custom extensions and additions, mechanical and welding services, carpentry and cabinetry craftsmanship, teak decking, paint and fiberglass work and more. If you can specify it, we provide just the right mix of brain and brawn to get the job done on time and on budget.
