Acquafilms makes yachting movies. Shooting in HiDefinition with stabilized cameras we deliver epic moving pictures of yachts for promotions, broadcast, internet and mobile use and anything in between. We are a custom company and can meet any need you

Acquafilms was founded in 2005 to service the superyacht market's need for quality and contemporary DVD promotional material. With 24 years combined experience in still photography, video and filmmaking we aim to provide a fresh, dynamic film like look to our productions.

Interactive models, excellent still photos, narrative and creative editing supplement strong, high quality video shots to display yachts with the style that they deserve so that prospective clients get a feel for the vessel, as opposed to just a simple tour.

F I L M A K I N G

Custom films - A complete movie of your racing experience or special charter! For your own pleasure and posterity, for gifts to your guests or even for seeking sponsorship on future race campaigns. Some yachts are building their own library of Acquafilms!

Promotional films - Good movies are simply the most compelling way to present a product these days. Yachts for charter or sale must elicit an emotional response in prospective clients and a well made film is unbeatable in this regard! Combine our aesthetic values with the descriptive ability of a movie and your clients will imagine themselves onboard before ever seeing the yacht!

Regatta / Event films - We can shoot and provide same day or next day footage to be played in a hospitality area and then produce a highlights reel to be shown at the prizegiving. We can then produce a web trailer for your site and a full length regatta film for sale or for complimentary gifts to participants. Crowds will gather at the dailies and the audience will cheer at the highlights reel, guaranteed! This service makes participants really feel like they got value for their entry fee at your event!

News / Editorial - We can cover events or stories according to your needs, do interviews that you request or simply provide you with an edited piece or with raw footage for you to make your own piece. This is becoming very popular with yachting websites.

Industry / Advertising - We do a lot of work for Yacht builders, sailmakers, marine architects and many other people in the industry. From completed movies to raw footage to be added to other projects we've met many demands over the years.

Introduction / Safety Films - A great way to introduce guests to the vessel and familiarize them with its layout and a thourough and consistent way to brief on the safety features of the yacht.
Stock Footage - we have footage of many yachts, boatshows, other events and marine related subjects. Please email us if you are interested in some and we can work out the details.

Photography - We can use existing photography or take new photos. Roddy has 10 years of experience as a working pro photographer and has done print quality brochure work for many yachts.
Marketing Campaigns - We can coordinate a campaign to get your product seen by the right people. We can create the video, brochures, press releases and websites and then get them noticed!

Web design - The internet is the crucial link in any contemporary marketing strategy and we've been using it, building it, and communicating on it every day for more than 10 years. Nowadays a client might read about your product in a magazine, check its website for more info, see the movie and photos on the site then email you to learn more and hopefully, commit to you. This makes it crucial for you to have a good one! We can make that happen.

Modelling / animation - This is a powerful tool to help visualize yachts and products which have not been built as yet and we have friends that can do it!!
