Galaxy megayacht is the fruit of formed alliance between Azimut/Benetti group and Fincantieri Yachting and the first project, realized on a new shipyard in Livorno. It began to drew attention long before completion. A notable producer chosen so unusual ultra-modern materials for this yacht and so cardinally changed the design, that many began to talk about new direction in a yachtbuilding.

Marine architects of the Benetti were devising the 56-meter yacht together with a customer, calmly and resolutely going away from established traditions. A future owner, young energetic Australian, described his understanding of comfort and designers "inserted" this dream within the hard bounds of Lloyd and MCA classification. But how they did this! Every room of Galaxy megayacht is literally an amazing "alloy" of functionality and comfort. For example, helm station has nine large windows, which give a field of view in 180 degrees, and the "half moon" of control panel are surrounding captain's chair; the great number of large monitors and other electronics are built in the panel made from stained oak, and a steering wheel is made from maple with the "bird eye" texture, Galaxy Megayacht Main Salon

what gives the helm station some special warmth, everything here would look too stiffly and functionally without such surrounding.

Living room is situated on the same deck of Galaxy megayacht, the owner calls it the Sky Lounge, which is almost a mirror reflection of the main salon one storey lower: sofas with pillows, tables for games, 70 names of spirits are counted in the bar, however there is "espresso" coffee-machine in case of morning discomfort after a party.

Apartments of Galaxy owner are also magnificent example of inimitable Italian taste and perfect design (all of interiors belong to Stefano Natucci). A giant bed is located in the center of the bedroom, which occupies the space along all the width of the megayacht, with enormous, to person's full height mirrors on each side. Bathrooms, separately for him and for her, are real marble miracle: bathtubs and wash-basins are made of stone of rare orange scale with delicately chosen "onyx" picture. VIP ensuite on the Galaxy megayacht is as luxurious, as rooms of the yacht owner, unless a little bit smaller, and planning of the rest guest area is varied between double and twin guest stateroom, but delicacy of design and the level of comfort remain certainly unchanging everywhere (silk light-beige carpets, panels from maple nodule; TV/DVD with a 26-incher screen and musical center are set in every cabin). Lifts are running inside the yacht. Galaxy megayacht has gymnasium, pool, impressive collection of videos and whatever your heart desires for water entertainments: Novurania 660 auxiliary boat (two Yamaha engines of 90HP each), Yamaha water skis, sailing fishing boat and equipment for scuba diving. The megayacht develops 16 knots by means of two "Caterpillars" with 1850 HP each and is served by a team from 14-16 people.
