Fishing Boats
Very rarely man is not fond of fishing, so choosing one or another boat he automatically tries how will it be to fish out of it. Boats for the
sport fishing form class enormous on the variety of types and sizes of powerboats - from 8-foot bass boats to 80-foot ocean fishing yachts. It's possible to distinguish next basic types of fishing boats by structural signs.
Bass Boat. This boat for catching of American bass (perch). Bass fishing is American phenomenon, an example of how it's possible to make out of hobby national sport and economy industry with an annual turnover about $40 billion. Bass bout has a low side as a rule, spacious area at the front (sometimes from the rear), several fishing armchairs, one or two trawl electromotors. Biting places are not always near, therefore powerful march engines are set on bass boats. By the way, passion for speed touched also this type, generating the original hybrid of bass- and sport boat.
Centre Console. Large-mouthed black bass, the inhabitant of lakes, is not the only desirable trophy; there is the great number of other fish for catching of which it's needed to go out in less quiet water and to use other tackle. A boat with minimum superstructures is desirable for work with fishing-rod. An ideal is platform, a boat with a center console approaches to such ideal. We'll mentione dual consol as a variety of this type. It's a boat with two consols along sides. Such boats remind bowriders on arrangement.
Except for these, type of universal boats of smaller size with one side consol became spread in Europe. The uniting sign of all these types, besides a steering consol, is absence of cabin. Many potential buyers consider the last as a failing. This generated an original (and very successful) compromise – walkaround.
Walkaround. This term literally means to "go around" and determines an architectural type. A cabin is disposed in a front half (from a stem to a midship), mainly under a deck, raising above it as a low island. Such arrangement is very comfortable because it leaves pretty wide, usually enclosed with railings, aisles to a bow. The top of fishing from the boat side can be called hunting for large salt-water fishes, such as tuna, marlin, spearfish, sharks etc. This type of fishing got a name "Big Game". Big boats are necessary for the "big game" - fishing motor yachts. Intended for sails in an ocean not a few days, they are equipped by "tuna towers", outriggers, fishing arm-chairs; at the same time they offer comfort, often at the level of fashionable motor yachts.
