Mercury 4 Outboard Motor
Single-cylinder four-stroke engines with manual starting and tiller steering. In spite of compactness and small weight, these motors possess all dignities of big engines: alternator (an option for all models, except for Sailpower), exhaust through the propeller hub, presence of thermostat in the cooling system, reverse, signaling of oil low pressure, turns limiter. Mercury FourStroke engines, plus to all these, have traditional advantages of four-stroke motors: separate lubricating system (there`s no need to add oil to fuel), more clean exhaust, low noise and vibration, high reliability, economy and resource. An electronic ignition system provides the sure motor starting, saving simplicity of service at the same time. Alternator has 50 W power (for illumination) and 25 W (for accumulator charging). Mercury four-stroke engines are supplied with standard (381 mm) and long (508 mm) dead-wood. The button of emergency stop is included in standard kitting-up of all engines.
